Collaborating with Laura Moorehead from Angell House Design, we crafted captivating advertisements for Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. Our work included eye-catching flyers, posters, email campaigns, and dynamic animated banner ads created in Adobe Flash. Each ad’s color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the monthly themes, such as green for March and St. Patrick’s Day. The email campaigns featured clickable buttons that led users to purchase tickets or learn more about the advertised events. Despite facing tight deadlines, we meticulously followed Foxwoods’ strict brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy.
Poster Design
Inspired by the vibrant hues of monthly seasonal holiday celebrations, the themed posters were created as the start of our design look and feel. By consistently using these color palettes across all brand assets, both in print and online, we created a unified visual identity for our campaigns that captivated audiences and made a lasting impact.
Flyer Design
We crafted unique flyers in line with the Foxwoods brand, tailoring each one to match the monthly color schemes that complemented the overall theme of the posters and marketing campaign. The consistent application of these color palettes across all brand assets, whether in print or online, added a cohesive visual identity to the campaigns, making them instantly recognizable and engaging.
Goal
Our collaboration with Foxwoods aimed to spread the word about upcoming events and facilitate ticket sales promptly. Timely release of advertisements ahead of events was crucial to give the intended audience adequate time to plan, schedule, and secure their tickets. This necessitated a fast-paced turnaround as finalized copy details had to be promptly delivered once confirmed.
Approach
The creative process behind our marketing strategy involved a blend of traditional print ads, eye-catching posters, impactful online campaigns, engaging social media content, and personalized email marketing. Maintaining the essence of Foxwood’s brand was crucial throughout, resulting in measurable success through sales data and user experience analytics on our digital ads and promotions.
Results
Despite not having access to the data and sales figures, the ongoing assistance from Foxwoods’ marketing manager allowed us to see that the advertising and marketing efforts for Foxwoods Entertainment were effective in attracting audiences and filling up their venues.
Email Design
The web emails had buttons as links to purchase tickets or get more information about the event that it advertised. Data was collected to find out email engagement and metrics and upsells were sent based on user input and activity.
